Annual General Meeting 2019

The Annual General Meeting 2019 of the Sacred Heart Canossian College Alumnae Association would be held at 3:00 pm on 23 November 2019, at Sacred Heart Canossian College, 2 Chi Fu Close, Pokfulam, Hong Kong. Please note that the Annual General Meeting ("AGM") will only be open to existing members (with membership approved as at 25 September 2019).

1. Attendance at AGM
As we anticipate that there will be an encouraging number of members attending the AGM, please arrive at 2:30 pm for the registration so that we can start the AGM on time.

2. Election of Executive Committee members for the term 2019-2021
During the AGM, there will be an election of the Executive Committee members for the term 2019-2021. We are glad that there are 23 candidates being nominated as the Executive Committee members this time.

Though the maximum number of the Executive Committee members is 20, as the Ex-Chairman of the preceding Executive Committee shall be an ex officio member of the Executive Committee, eligible members may elect up to 19 out of the 22 candidates to be the Executive Committee members for the term 2019-2021 by secret ballot. No proxy is allowed.

Candidates will introduce themselves during the AGM before voting. Personal statements of the candidates will not be posted online due to personal data privacy concerns.

3. Membership application
We also welcome membership application that day. Please bring along the completed Membership Application Form (which can be downloaded at http://alumnae.shcc.edu.hk/p/links-download.html) and a cheque of HK$1,000 payable to "Sacred Heart Canossian College Alumnae Association" (no cash or other forms of payment is accepted on the day).

As the Association is required to process the applications and the membership fee payments properly, regrettably, alumnae who apply for membership since 25 September, 2019 will not be eligible to attend and vote during the AGM. All applications received after 25 September, 2019 will be reviewed and approved by the elected Executive Committee members as soon as practicable to ensure our alumnae could fully participate in all our activities, especially in celebration of our school's 160th anniversary.

If you have any enquiries, please contact us by email (shccaa@ecampus.shcc.edu.hk).

We appreciate your support to the school and the Association.
Look forward to seeing you on 23 November, 2019!
