Notice of Annual General Meeting 2020

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual General Meeting 2020 of the Association will be held at Sacred Heart Canossian College at 2 Chi Fu Close, Pokfulam, Hong Kong, on 21st November 2020 (Saturday) at 11.00am for the purpose of transacting the following business:-

1. To confirm the minutes of the Annual General Meeting held on 23rd November 2019;

2. To review and adopt the Annual Report and the financial statement for the year ended 30th June 2020;

3. To re-appoint Sharon Cheung & Co as auditors of the Association.

4. Any Other Business.

Prevention and control measures for the 2020 Annual General Meeting

In line with the Prevention and Control of Disease (Prohibition on Group Gathering) Regulation (Chapter 599G of the Laws of Hong Kong), the Association will implement the following prevention and control measures at the AGM to protect all participants from the risk of infection of COVID-19, including:

1. No refreshment will be served either during or after the AGM;

2. All participants shall be subject to compulsory body temperature check at the entrance of the venue and anyone with a body temperature higher than 37.3 degree Celsius will be denied entry to the venue; and

3. All participants are required to wear face masks appropriately and observe good personal hygiene at all times during the whole process of the AGM.

To the extent permitted under the law, the Association reserves the right to deny entry to the venue or require any person to leave the venue so as to ensure the health and safety of the participants at the AGM.

Members are strongly advised to register for attending the AGM so as to facilitate the Association’s arrangement.

The Chairman of the AGM may, with the consent of the meeting, adjourn the AGM from time to time, and from place to place, if she determines that the AGM cannot be further proceeded with when the circumstances during the AGM may cause violation of any laws or regulations relating to the prevention and control of the spread of COVID-19. The Association will closely monitor the situation and if necessary, notify members of any updates on the AGM arrangements.
